The multi-find add-in is an extremely useful and powerful tool for
Excel, and without doubt would find use in most daily tasks undertaken
in Excel. The add-in performs multiple searches at a time, and is faster
when
searching for single items than Excel´s find because you can
refine your search by specifying the column to search. If you use
vlookups when searching for matches and comparing list items then this
tool will save you a lot of time.
The Multi-Find macro finds and highlights multiple items with a
single click, so why not try it and find out for yourself how useful
this tool really is. As an example you could use Excel´s Filter by Color
to filter and group together all the items highlighted by the
multi-find add-in.
For Excel 2003: Menu path is Tools>Add-ins...
For Excel 2007-10: the Menu path is File>Options>Add-ins>Go...
Select the ´Browse´ button and paste the file into the Add-in folder.
Select the file and click the ´OK´ button to install.
