CPU-Z is a free tool, which gives you any information about your CPU, Mainboard, and Memory that you might need, and it will present it to you in a neat and convenient way. CPU-Z is a very light-weight
program, it does not write any values to the Registry, and it doesn’t even need to be installed – all you have to do is unzip the files in a directory of your choice, and you can start using the program.

After starting, it will give you the following information about your system:

CPU:

• Name and number.
• Core stepping and process.
• Package.
• Core voltage.
• Internal and external clocks, clock multiplier.
• Supported instructions sets.
• All cache levels (location, size, speed, technology).

Mainboard:

• Vendor, model and revision.
• BIOS model and date.
• Chipset (northbridge and southbridge) and sensor.
• Graphic interface.

Memory and System:

• Frequency and timings.
• Module(s) specification using SPD (Serial Presence Detect) : vendor, serial number, timings table.
• Windows and DirectX version.
